Leadership Transition, Alban Aubrée Takes the Helm at EY Luxembourg
EY Luxembourg is set for a change in leadership as Alban Aubrée steps into the role of
country managing partner, succeeding Olivier Coekelbergs. The transition becomes
effective on 1 July.
Aubrée, a seasoned EY professional with 23 years at the firm and a decade as partner,
brings extensive leadership experience to the role. Since 2020, he has held dual
responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at EY
Luxembourg.
Olivier Coekelbergs, who has led the Luxembourg branch since 2020, will move on to a
regional role as Managed Services Leader for Financial Services across EY’s Europe
West region. During his five-year tenure at the top, Coekelbergs oversaw significant
growth, with the firm reportedly doubling in size.
EY’s announcement highlights the continuity of leadership and experience at the core of
this strategic shift, as both men prepare to take on their new responsibilities at the start
of July.
