Luxembourg Calls Local Talent for MusiqCITE 2025
The City of Luxembourg is calling on local musicians, dancers and culinary enthusiasts to take centre stage at MusiqCITE 2025, set for Friday, 5 December at the Conservatoire. Now in its 13th edition, the popular multicultural festival aims to unite communities through music, dance and international flavours.
Last year’s edition saw vibrant performances from Ukraine, India, Senegal and Mexico, paired with a lively tasting of world cuisines. This year, organisers want to spotlight more local talent. Amateur music groups, solo artists, singers, dancers, cultural associations and culinary creatives are all invited to apply. Whether you dream of performing, sharing traditional dishes or showcasing cultural works, MusiqCITE offers a chance to celebrate your heritage with the wider community.
Interested participants must apply by 31 July by emailing integratioun@vdl.lu or calling +352 4796-4150 during office hours. Those taking part will be responsible for bringing their own instruments, preparing dishes beforehand and arranging any needed display equipment.
Organised by the City’s Department of Integration and Special Needs, MusiqCITE promises an evening of connection through rhythm, movement and taste. The event continues to grow as a highlight of Luxembourg’s cultural calendar, offering residents and visitors alike a joyful celebration of global diversity. This year’s edition is set to be another colourful showcase of community spirit.
