LOA Star-Studded Lineup, New Venue, and Four Stages of Electrifying Music

The countdown is on for one of Luxembourg’s most anticipated end-of-summer blowouts.

The team behind Luxembourg Open Air (LOA) has officially unveiled the full program for its season finale: LOA by POST 2025, set to take over a brand-new venue on Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13. For the first time, the festival will transform the historic Metzeschmelz site in Esch-sur-Alzette into an open-air party haven.

Once home to a booming steel industry that shaped the identity and economy of southern Luxembourg, this sprawling industrial space, straddling Esch-sur-Alzette and Schifflange, is now on the brink of a new chapter. Currently being redeveloped by Agora into a modern urban district, Metzeschmelz will first serve as a striking, post-industrial backdrop for the 2025 LOA closing celebration. After the smashing success of LOA’s May kickoff in Esch-Belval, expectations are high. And the lineup delivers.

The main stage will be graced by eight international electronic heavyweights: W&W, Maddix, Avaion, Bennett, DJs From Mars, Tita Lau, The Rocketman, and Joshwa. Local talent will also have the spotlight, with numerous Luxembourg-based artists joining the roster, ensuring the weekend pulses with both global and homegrown energy.

But that’s just the beginning. Four Stages. Infinite Vibes. In addition to the main stage, LOA by POST will feature three more dynamic performance zones: The Barrakud Stage, curated exclusively for Techno lovers, will highlight the best of Luxembourg’s underground scene. Artist announcements are expected soon.

The Technobus, a Hard Techno experience on wheels, will keep energy levels sky-high. The Rave Cave, where Drum & Bass and Hardstyle will reign supreme, offers a raw, immersive sound adventure for the hard-core crowd. Beyond the Music: Chill, Eat, and Move Sustainably Festival-goers can look forward to more than just beats.

The event site will feature a Chill Out area for those in need of a breather, and a Food Village packed with culinary delights and surprises throughout the weekend. In line with LOA’s forward-thinking ethos, sustainability and innovation are central to the event.

In partnership with CFL, Luxembourg’s national railway company, the festival is rolling out an integrated mobility solution to encourage greener travel. Moreover, single-use plastics are out. Reusable cups will be used at all bars, and food vendors are required to serve meals using eco-friendly, reusable dishware.

It’s all part of the LOA team’s mission to make the festival experience as enjoyable as it is environmentally responsible. Don’t Miss Out With a fresh venue, an explosive lineup, multiple music zones, and a focus on sustainability, LOA by POST 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark edition.

Whether you’re in it for the international DJ sets, the local techno scene, or simply a last summer hurrah, Metzeschmelz is the place to be this September. Tickets are expected to go fast, so mark your calendar and get ready to rave responsibly.
